Quartus Linux hangs when creating/loading a project on a windows share

When i try to create a new project, or open a existing one, Quartus II 12.0 blocks with the message: "Please wait while Quartus II opens project..."

This process only creates .qpf, .qsf and db\*.flock files.

The project is on a windows share and i'm using both Quartus II 11.1 and 12.0, Linux Edition. With a local project i don't have any trouble and i have write access on the share.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
