Sometimes the PC is turn off when quartus (14.0, web edition) entry to the fitter stage during compilation. Any suggestion to fix this problem? Thank you
Honored ContributorI've had that happen as well. In my case it turned out to be overheating due to a loose heat sink. The pc shut off to avoid cooking the CPU.
Honored ContributorProbably you could check also if the RAM utilization exceeding your PC's physical memory available?
