Quartus II 7.2 Crash

I had just installed the Quartus II 7.2 version and found that it crashes every time i try to create a new project. In the project settings window..when I try to click the button to browse for project directory the SW gives the following error and crashes:

*** Fatal Error: Access Violation at 0X7C174AD0

Module: quartus.exe

0x34AD0 : Ordinal6090 (MFC71)

This same error existed with the 6.1 versions also. I have to manually type in the project path and click Next. The rest of the tool works ok for now. The only version that worked well was the 5.1 version of Quartus II.

Can any one help me out with this..
