Quartus 7.2 not recognizing USBBlaster

Hello. I'm trying to work with a de2 board using quartus 7.2 (Old, but it's what I'm restricted with for this lab), and I can show that the USB Blaster driver is installed, Windows picks up the device, but Quartus isn't recognizing the device at all. When I go into the programmer, the only option in Add Hardware is Ethernet Blaster, which is a non-existant connection.

I'm unsure what to do, all the documentation i've seen just presumes that USBBlaster will be listed in the hardware setup. Any assistance would be appreciated.
