quartus 18.1 crashes during Analysis& Synthesis when Signal tap is added

No matter what signal I add to Signal Tap I get this error:

    Hi,


    Thank you for using Intel Communities.

    Since this is an old version of Quartus, I suggest that you use the latest available Quartus version since most bugs are fixed in the latest version.


    Please try Quartus Lite 22.1.
