Quartus 10 on Fedora 14, problem

I am A complete Noob (to Linux ) and faitly new at Quartus, and I hope somebody can help me to get this show on the road...(else I will be forced to run back to windows due to time pressure)

I Downloaded the Quartus 10.1SP1 Linux version

I Ran the install and it seemd to install, I followed various links/forum post WRT to installation.

However I was never presented with an Install GUI, it just unpacked and claimed success. I added the Paths to the .bashrc file

But when I try and run Quartus I get

"quartus: error while loading shared libraries: libsys_cpt.so: cannot enable executable stack as shared object requires: Permission denied"

I still need to go through the licence file retrieval process but that should happen after I launch Linux
