Quartus 10.0 Web Edition download problem

Question

I'm using Win7 x64. I've been trying for several hours to download the Quartus 10.0 Web Edition, I get part way through the download and the downloader dies on me. It seems to then make Windows unstable and I have to reboot the laptop. I can't restart the downloader.

I've now given up with the downloader and am downloading the file directly, which seems to be working OK - only four hours to go at about 207 kB/s. Has anyone else had similar problems?

It would be nice if Altera made it available on a DVD, as Xilinx does.

there have been a variety of problems with the new 10.0 installers  you can request a DVD here:  https://www.altera.com/literature/quartus2/q2acds-dvd.jsp

Thanks. I got 85% through the download, moved the laptop and it shutdown because the power connector had worked loose. I've just restarted it. I've requested the DVD in case I have further problems.
