QSYS fails to generate SS_n export correctly for SPI interface?

I should have noted that that was the first thing I did. The compile process regenerates that file each time. Or it did in my environment. I was equally surprised. It seems that 'generation' of the SOPC is run for every compile. Or from this wicked-green-novice it appears to be that way.
