QSYS commenting

One of the first things we are taught when learning about programming is to document our code with lots of comments. There does not appear to be a way of attaching any meaningful remarks to the QSYS components within the QSYS environment. Other than maintaining an external document, has anyone any bright ideas about this?

    I would also like to know if there is any way of adding comments to .qsys files.
