QII Web Edition maintenace subscription?

I opened Quartus II V11.0 Web Edition this morning and was greeted by a "License Notification" window: "Your maintenance subscription for the Quartus II software expires in 60 days (October 24, 2011)...

Yes. I do believe they now require a license file even for the web-edition.

They've changed stuff around: Here's the licensing website.

There's a specific Web Edition link about halfway down the page under Set Up A License..

EDIT: I just looked at that page, and it says beginning with Version 8.1 a license file is no longer required.. ? So I guess it's probably a bug, and will continue to work.

You may want to send a support request and see if they know what's going on.
