QII on Kubuntu 9.04 32 or 64 Bit

the Nios wiki explains how to setup quartus on kubuntu 8.04

but i would like to do a fresh kubuntu installation beside xp by using kubuntu 9.04

so what kubuntu version would be recomendated 32 or 64 bit ?

are there any pitfalls to take care about ?

    Ubuntu 9.04 32 bit edition here. No much problems beside graphical issues when editing with Quartus, which I have resolved using an external editor (Code::Blocks). I have a personal PC running 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04 without issues, but I have not tried Quartus there.
