QII 9.1 SP2 can work without QII 9.1 ?

I install QII web edition 9.1 for windows.

Then Install QII web edition 9.1 SP2 for windows.

During Installation of SP2 it will ask to create new icon on desktop, that means both "QII 9.1" & "QII 9.1 SP2" have different exe file.

Generally when a SP is run it will update new files in old directories of the Software, But in this case two different folders are created (c:\altera\91) & (c:\altera\91sp2) .

My C drive does not have so much free space.So,can I Unstall "QII 9.1" & work with full Functionality & GUI on "QII 9.1 SP2" as i was work when both are installed ?

    yes, you can uninstall the 9.1 installation. i think i've noticed that web editions aren't patches but new installs, i'm not sure why
