Pros and cons of Quartus FPGA Design Tools

Hello, I would like to hear from those willing to share about the pros and cons of using Quartus. What do you like or dislike about the tools? For a purely FPGA design is Quartus any better than Vivado? For an embedded ARM design is Quartus better than Vivado? What would be reason why you remain with Quartus? Have you heard of any major improvements coming to future Quartus releases?

Thanks

Very easy answer: if you plan on using Intel FPGA devices, you have to use Quartus. You don't have a choice. You can use a third-party tool for synthesis, but Quartus is required for standard hardware development on these devices to perform placement and routing and to generate programming files. Vivado is for Xilinx devices.
