Pros and cons of Quartus FPGA Design Tools

Hello, I would like to hear from those willing to share about the pros and cons of using Quartus. What do you like or dislike about the tools? For a purely FPGA design is Quartus any better than Viva...

Very easy answer: if you plan on using Intel FPGA devices, you have to use Quartus. You don't have a choice. You can use a third-party tool for synthesis, but Quartus is required for standard hardware development on these devices to perform placement and routing and to generate programming files. Vivado is for Xilinx devices.
