PowerPlay Power Analyzer Error

I am currently trying to get a power estimate for my design using the PowerPlay Power Analyzer. But every time I run the Analyzer I get the following error.

PowerPlay Power Analyzer (quartus_pow) cannot be run. It requires a successful run of the Assembler. The Assembler (quartus_asm) failed or was not run.

But actually I compiled the whole design successfully including the assembler. Any guess what could be the problem?

    What device? Do you see the assembler actually run? Possibly Assignments -> Settings -> Compilation Process -> Run Assembler During Compilation(this is on by default, but some people turn it off to save compile time).

    It's the Cyclone III EP3C25F324C8. Yes I see it running through the compilation, also the box is checked and even if I run it separately again it does not work.
