    Hi,

did you try to update driver for the unknown device in device manager, manually selecting recent quartus\drivers\usb-blaster-ii folder as driver installation source?

  • Hi,

Please provide the screenshot of the unreconized device message.

Also, have you try to uninstalled and reinstall the USB Blaster driver?

    Regards,

    Aiman

  • Hi Venu,

    Kindly try below:

    1. Ensure that USB Blaster Adapter connected to the board in correct manner(one to one mapping)
    2. Complete reinstall of Quartus Prime
    3. Running as admin

    Another try:

    1. Disconnect other USB device
    2. uninstall and reinstall the usb blaster driver
    3. You can also try this https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/programmable/articles/000073673.html
    4. If you have another USB Blaster, please try using another one and see if it works.

    Regards,

    Aiman
