    I managed to get the issue resolved by updating my Linux OS to a newer version.
    The license server (lmgrd) version which I was using was outdated,
    and the latest version of lmgrd did not seem to work correctly on my previous Linux version.
    Now all licenses are working correctly again.

So now the new 'test pc' also shows up in the "generate license" page,
but my other PCs still don't...
Is there some way for you to increase the number of rehosts available on my 2 Quartus Prime Pro licenses from 0 to 2 ?  That would allow me to rename the existing host, and then create a new one and move all the licenses over.

      Ok, I tried this as well, but my original server is a 'FLOAT' server,
      so apparently I cannot move this license to that server ?
