One-time Altera Verification Code

Hi all,

Not sure where is the best place to post this...

Is there a reason why I have to use a one time verification code whenever I log into this forum site? I use the same computer every time.

Thanks

  • Dear 3LionsCT,

Apologies for the inconvenient, unfortunately this topics are beyond the scope of the FPGA technical issues.

However if there is further clarification, would suggest to post a follow up question in the link below:
    https://www.altera.com/contact

And our relevant team would be getting in touch with you soon.

    Thank you for the questions.

    Best Wishes

    BB

This is the new login mechanism.  It's basically like SSO.

Edit: I didn't see this was posted 2 months ago!

I just question why we need such high security for a help forum? Surely just having a username and password is sufficient?

It is what it is, I suppose. Just a bit inconvienient...

It's an SSO so it lets you get into the main Altera site, community, training, etc.  I actually like it better than having to enter a password first like on the old site.
