Not able to run the Modelsim simulation in linux

Could you kindly specify the exact version of Linux you are using?

To ensure compatibility, please refer to the OS support information for Modelsim Intel FPGA Edition provided in the following link.

The compatibility is the same as Questa* Intel FPGA Edition.
