ModSim Wave Clock Period Units

In the ModSim's Wave wndow, in its "Define Clock" pop up, is there a way to control the units of the value entered into the "Period" field? Or can it only ever be picoseconds?

Picoseconds are very inconvenient to me. I am working in times that are on the order of microseconds.

    I suggest you write a testbench, then you have full control over ALL signals.
