Hi again,

Problem solved. I was playing around with a version of modelsim altera with the same project as the licence for PE was in use by another workmate. This seems to somehow effect or corrupt something in PE.

Anyway I uninstalled both versions of modelsim and re installed PE again. It seems that some files on the PE version got corrupted somehow, but after reinstalling it and recompiling the libraries in the same way it now works fine.
