Missing folders / files

Hi all,

I am trying use a Cyclone II FPGA starter board (for a company that I just started with), They had the hardware but no software. I downloaded Quartus II web edition so no problem there. What I an not finding is the folder "CII/starter" and the file "USB_API.SOF"....I am needing the control panel that resides in one of the folders and/or sub folders and I am also wanting to default the board. Any help would be, well, a big help. :)

Thanks,

Greg

    Hey Greg,

    You can usually download the design files from either Altera's site, or Terasic's site (they design some of the evaluation boards for Altera).

    Is this the kit you have;

    Altera page:

    http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-cyc2-2c20n.html

    Terasic page:

    http://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?no=83

    Click on the "Resources" tab on the Terasic page, create an account, and then download the files you need.

    Note: annoyingly the GUIs for these kits want to link against a specific version of Quartus. This means that when you first get started, its a good idea to install the version of Quartus II that is described in the documentation for the board. Once you are familiar with how the board works, you can use a newer version of Quartus.

    I do not have this kit, but I do recall making an example design for it ... see the zip file in this thread ...
