License file not recognized for questasim - Quartus 22.1.1 on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi,

I have some trouble with my license Questasim generated by SSLC.

I use last version for linux (Quartus and Questa 22.1.1) .

I set up my license variable LM_LICENSE_FILE correctly but when I try to lunch ./vsim (questa) on terminal I have an error message, or when I try to lunch license setup on Quartus, nothing is recognized.

I really have many issues to implement my architecture using linux and Quartus.

Thank you,

Dorian

    Hello,

    Thanks for reply.

I have Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS so I think it's not supported refering to you table, but I installed Questa Starter edition which is not in it. So is it supported ?

If not, what can be the solution on this version of Ubuntu to have a complete simulation tool with Quartus 22.1.1 ?

    Hello,

I checked the license.dat I have generated with SSLC and I found that there is just a INCREMENT field decommented and no FEATURE field as I found here : https://cdrdv2-public.intel.com/666293/quartus_install-683472-666293.pdf part 5.2.3.

    I have just :

    INCREMENT intelqsimstarter mgcld 2024.01 24-may-2024 uncounted \

Maybe that can explain the error I facing through.

When I try to regenerate a license file, I have now 2 INCREMENT field without FEATURE field.

    It still doesn't work.
