1 year agoWe will need some time to look into this for VHDL 2008/2019.
But for the pro version to support Cycle10LP/Max10, it will not be in the plan.

1 year agoThat would be brilliant! Quartus lite used to support some parts of 2008, but it scrapped the support some time ago for whatever reason. The use of generic packages and types in packages makes vhdl much less verbose and substantially easier to use. It would be great to be able to use all synthesizable features of 2008 with quartus lite projects especially since there is no good way to work around the limitations of vhdl1993 in case the original code is written in 2008.
