Instantiation of 'cyclonev_hmc' failed. The design unit was not found.

I get this error when trying to simulate in ModelSim. It's a HPS design. Also see attached file.

# ** Error: (vsim-3033) C:/Users/jgr/Documents/Projects/fpga/soc_logic_analyzer/soc_system/synthesis/submodules/altera_mem_if_hard_memory_controller_top_cyclonev.sv(1387): Instantiation of 'cyclonev_hmc' failed. The design unit was not found.

I am using Quartus II 15.0.2 build 153 and ModelSim Altera Starter edition 10.3d.

The design compiles fine in QuartusII.

I am not able to locate neither anything related to altera_mem_if_hard_memory_controller nor cyclone_hmc in my file system.

What to do?

    Solved it, a total misshap from my side. I forgot to check "create simulation files" in QSys.

    I am working on an example design which I have downloaded from alterawiki.

    It is getting compiled succeffully in quartus tool. But When I tried to simulate using altera-modelsim, it is throwing the above error.

    kindly help me in solving the issue.

    I am using quartus ii 15.1 and modelsim 10.4b

    and also kindly let me know how to map the library files to modelsim for simulation.(At present , I am compiling all the design files and library manually)
