In Quartus Programmer, does "Program an EPC16 with POF" include a "Verify"?

When Quartus Programmer is used to program an EPC16 with a pof file, would it perform a "verify" action by default?

We have adapted the jam-player in our system to program EPC16. It takes 4 minutes to program the part which is somewhat comparable with Quartus programmer, but 1.5hrs to verify which is much longer than asking Quartus Programmer to perform an explicit verify by clicking the verify button on the GUI.
