how to choose device?

how to choose device when i complile vhdl code.Error: Current license file does not support the EP2C5Q208C8 device? what's worng? thanks !

If your question is how to choose a device (other than the EP2C that is currently your target device), that is under Assignment... Device...

If you really want that EP2C to be your target, and the license error is your problem, note that if you are using the current Web Edition, all Cyclone II devices (including that one) should be supported. If you are using a subscription edition, then you have to have a license that is locked to a particular machine, a USB dongle, network installation, etc. (This involves a license.dat file that you have to put in a designated location)
