How do I know which IP I can freely use in Quartus II?

Hello--

In Quartus II, is it possible to determine the IP that is freely available for users of the Web Edition tools?

For example, in the MegaWizard Plugin Manager, page 2a, I am given the option to add the DDR2 SDRAM Controller v.9.0. Do I require an additional license to use this controller in my system on the FPGA, or is the controller freely available for users of the Quartus II Web Edition?

What about the other IP? When I am asked to "select a megafunction from the list below," does the availability of the megafunction in the list imply that the megafunction is available without any additional licensing and restrictions?

Well, it appears that the software is not very explicit about which cores are available to be freely licensed. However, there is a search engine which will show which cores are available to be licensed:

    http://www.altera.com/products/ip/ipm-index.html

So perhaps everything that is listed in the search engine will show the associated licenses.

Does Altera provide a freeware license memory interface controller for SDRAM? Will this provide everything that is required to interface with SDRAM?
