Help: need to know how to install Quartus II licences

hello everyone;

i downloaded the quartus and Nios II, i got some issue with license and didnt find out how to install it.

i heard that you can create license. date file

hope that i can be helped by you guys

    What flavor of Quartus are you looking at?

    The Web Edition no longer requires a license file, so I'm assuming you are using the subscription version.

    The subscript version uses flexlm licensing, so if it's tied to your computer, you will have a license file, but you need to get that from Altera through your purchasing channel.

    If you wanted the Web Edition, but downloaded the subscription edition that could be your problem.
