Error: (vcom-7)

Hiii

i'm having same problem in this thead

my case is that i'm used to compiling through gui not via cmd

but whenever i select compile all or ceven compile selected .. nothing happened

so when i wrote the compiling command in the transcript window i got this error which is

(Error: (vcom-7) Failed to open design unit file "TB.vhd" in read mode)

i also got the same error message whenever i compile any other file was already compiled

Note:

when i opened task manager to close running thread i found# of vcom.exe processes =# of my compiling trials

    ther is another thing

    when i tried to close "TB.vhd" i got this message

    (can't read "data(realized)": no such variable)

    is there any relation between this and my problem

    i tried to make a work arround by creating new file then copy and paste my code in it to be compiled then

    but i got this waring with no compilation too

    "Warning: (vcom-6) -- Waiting for lock by "....@...., pid = 768

    ". Lockfile is "....../work/_lock".

    appreciating all your help..
