Error: Failure to checkout 'intelqsim' license feature

Question

Hi,I used to be able to use the QuestaSim that comes with the Quartus software suite. It worked great last year when I was using it. Now because there is a new Quartus and my license has expired I re-installed a the newest Quartus Suite with Questa Sim and re-generated a license for both the lite free edtion and the pro edition. In either cases, Questa Sim seems to have problems with the generated license. See attached screenshot.Any suggestions on how to solve this issue? Is there a problem with the license generation?Thanks,Marco

Since we cannot get support from Intel. I will put a post on how to run simulations for Intel FPGA using the Vivado Simulator that comes for free and works.

Welcome to Intel forum. Could you first upgrade both license vendor daemon software to the newer version and try it.

Please stop and restart the server after upgrade. Shutdown/kill all the license service and restart back from ground zero.
