I have just installed Quartus 15.1 and getting the same thing. I have an I7 with 16GB on win7. I ran the same design in Q13.1 and this never happened. I thought the problem was down to the patch I installed 'update 1' because when I removed it, things started working. However, after compiling a few times, it has started happening again. My colleague's computer does the same thing.

I was trying to compile a half full Arria V GX (A1)
