Eliminating Orphaned And Redundant lpm...

Design changes have left many orphaned lpm_ files that clutter the directory. Project Navigator's File page shows them all and, worse, not in alphabetical order. This has become a nuisance. Is there any good way of getting rid of them? Is there a list of used files somewhere (a BOM)?

Can I get the File page in alphabetical order?

thanks,

Gary

    I neglected to ask,

Is there a way to consolidate redundate lpm_ files? I create a new device for each usage which results in a lot of identical files.

    Thanks again,

    Gary

have you tryed to use the quartus function to archive and restore a project ?

menue -> Project -> Archive Project

this stores all required files into one singel file

you can double clic on that file and restore it again (in a different folder)

try to compile everything to be shure it holds all those files needed.

i use this function if i send a project to Altera MySupport for example so they get everything needed.

thats the only garbage collection i know to clean up
