DSE Chooses odd working directory

Does anyone know where DSE gets it's working directory from? I have two machines, FM18 and FM19. FM19 is set as a slave and appears to run fine - I started it in its own directory on the local drive ...

Aha - think I found the problem

There appears to be a QSlave session running on the same machine that I started in that working directory (I did wonder why it was running 6 jobs locally when I set the local gui to 4)
