Hi
I believe the reason is due to ECO limitation which you cannot use ECO commands to modify/edit dedicated connections. You may refer to link below for details.

Thanks for you reply me. Because I can't reply any thread in Intel forum long time term, you may lose my info in my several posts. However, I found I can reply now. It's wondful for us.
As your link shows, it seems that lower end devcies don't support ECO function in new QPP version. But the high end devcies can support ECO function in new QPP version. I also found that the standard Quartus Prime version can support ECO for Max 10 devcies.
