I begin to use Quartus 15.0 and Qsys. I want create a ADC project. I use Qsys tools. I put CPU : Nios II (Classic) Processor. When I quit Qsys tools, i have this error (I didn't generate): http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=11436&stc=1 I try to finish my Qsys project and i have the same error. The message - which is not an error message - is simply stating that you need to add files to your Quartus project. In Quartus, under 'Project' -> 'Add/Remove Files in Project', add those files to your project. Cheers, AlexHonored ContributorHI,

I tested with 14.1 version and i have the same error Best regards JenniferHonored ContributorAs said by Alex, this is not an error. Everyone sees this when exiting QSYS after creating a system. You need to successfully generate the QSYS system before the qip file is created. The qip file is created in a directory with the same name as your QSYS system. If you are using windows, the find file feature can locate if for you, just search for *.qip. In order to have the QSYS system included in your quartus project, you need to add the file as Alex mentioned.

The above is the default path to the DE0_NANO.qip. The <generation_directory> can change according to your selection during generation. The message is to prompt you to include the DE0_NANO.qip file into Quartus for compilation purpose.Honored ContributorHi,
I must begin because i have 2 erros in "System Contents" of Qsys Error: unsaved.nios2_qsys_0: Reset slave is not specified. Please select the exception slave I find the solution from Gruß Tobi you need to specifiy the reset and exception address. Open the Nios II Processor and set the reset and exception vector at the first tab. I don't undestand because i use nios2_Qsys_0.jtag_debug_module for Reset Vector and Exception Vector !!!!!!!! I have still the first problem from my post but not too bad. i pu "Absolute" for Reset Vector and Exception Vector. and after, i put the memory. I haven't errors. Best regards JenniferHonored ContributorRegarding to the error for reset and exception slave, you will need to connect to an actual memory, either a onchip_memory or DDR. You must not set the reset/exception slave to the jtag_debug_module because that interface is used as for break or debugger operations only.
You can put absolute values but you need to make sure that there is valid memory corresponding to the absolute value. Usually by design, once you connect a memory to the instruction master, you should be able to select the reset/exception slaves via the drop down box.
