I have found that the USB driver from Quartus II 7.2 SP2 works okay in Vista 64. However, the driver supplied with 8.0 SP1 does not. Unfortunately, the driver from 7.2 SP2 would not install until I did a system restore to before I attempted to use the 8.0 SP1 driver.
