The said support answer simply invalidates the official OS support statement regarding Vista 64. It's rather ignorant than well-considered to my opinion. As I previously stated, I don't want to see Vista in a professional work enviroment. The effort to get all applications working may sum up to an equivalent of some 1000$ easily. But users, who prefer Vista 64 for any reason should take Altera at their word regarding OS support.
