Can't get evaluation license for Quartus II 9.1 (Linux 64-bit)

Hi,

After installing Quartus II 9.1 on a 64-bit Fedora Linux machine, I ran "quartus" and the GUI pops up telling me that I don't have a license. According to the licensing manual, this is expected and it should proceed to give an option for a 30-day evaluation license.

However, when the licensing window comes up, the "Begin 30-day grace period" is greyed-out.

Did I do something wrong or does the 30-day evaluation not extend to older versions of Quartus? Would appreciate any help on this.
