the FIR should be in the DSP section of the MegaWizard, you don't need to go to the MegaStore

Hmmm, something seems amiss with the MegaWizard, when I launch it there doesn't seem to be any installed plug-ins. I am using a Cyclone II eval board and was really hoping to implement (easily) an FIR filter.

sounds like something went wrong in your install. check c:\altera\9.0sp2\ip\altera (or similar directory), there should be a few dozen ip cores in there

Thanks pancake, I found the ip cores in that directory. Unfortunately, however, I am still unable to access them via the MegaWizard Plug-in Manager. I have attached a screenshot of the manager showing no ip cores

check in the ip directory for root_wizard.lst and in ip/altera for altera_components.ipx. i think one of these is what the MegaWizard parses to know what IP is installed
