Can Quartus 11.0 use mega function IPs generated by Quartus 90?

Can these mega function IPs used in previous projects(EP3S340) be used in

new project(EP4S820) seamless?

you should run the megawizard again setting the target family to StratixIV.

some IPs doesn't work according to your suggestions.

for example, altmemphy changes a lot from 9.0 to 11.0....

Some IP might change from one version to another

Some IP might not support a different device/family

Hence it's advisable to regenerate the IP

Hi,

I' not sure, but I would assume that the altmemphy implementation is technology depended. Therefore you have to re-run the megawizard, in order to adapt the IP

to the choosen device family.
