Can Quartus 11.0 use mega function IPs generated by Quartus 90?

selected device is EP4S820 for quartus 11.0, and EP3S340 for quartus 9.0. Can these mega function IPs used in previous projects(EP3S340) be used in new project(EP4S820) seamless? thanks!

Hi,

I' not sure, but I would assume that the altmemphy implementation is technology depended. Therefore you have to re-run the megawizard, in order to adapt the IP

to the choosen device family.
