Can I verify a download into an EP2C70?

I'm using a jtag usb cable to program an ep2c70 and the only checkbox I can choose is Program/Configure.

What is preventing the Verify, Blank check, etc... from being enabled?

    Altera FPGA's do not support read back of the downloaded .pof file - thus no verify.

    They are by there very nature Blank (SRAM based).

    They also do not support the etc feature (giggle).
