ByteBlaster - quartus II web - Window 7 issues

The computer shows the byte blaster installed but does not allow the device driver to load

Pointed at the altera device driver file

    Byte Blaster does not function in Windows 7. Please get a USB-blaster. It is a USB to Byte Blaster adapter.
