Bug in Quartus 13 and Waveform Simulation

Hi,

in Quartus II 13 when trying to run a RTL functional simulation (eg. from the Simulation Waveform Editor Editor) nothing happens.

I think the setup is right (the design is in VHDL, compiled correctly, tool assignment is ModelSim-Altera, I even assigned an older Cyclone II device ...) but there is no way I could get this to work.

I would really appreciate some help on this as it's a quite fundamental tool of the University Program... and it makes Altera's "Introduction to Simulation

of VHDL Designs" tutorial wrong.

(the waveform simulation in ModelSim is just fine)

    the error was due a space in the path to the installation folder (eg. "Program Files"). Moving the altera installation folder to the default root (eg. c:\altera) ensured no spaces are in the path and all files / apps can be access properly.
