Dave, I ran your qsys_vip example and it worked fine ... I then tried adding the monitor where it "T's off the existing MMmasterBFM -> MMslaveBFM connection and I get the same

3033 errors ...

I was trying to get to what Ted suggested above but not sure where I go to "export all ports" .
