Occasional Contributor"Avalon I2C (Master) IP" is missing from IP Catalog on some 26.1 installations
Our group of Quartus users has encountered some scenarios where the "Avalon I2C (Master) IP" is missing from the IP Catalog of Quartus 26.1 on Windows machines.
It is working well on other Windows machines and Linux machines in the same network.
A Windows machine missing the IP:
A Linux machine where it works;
Installing Patch 0.11 did not solve the issue.
All relevant environment variables seem to be equal on both working and non-working machines.
Any ideas?
I had checked the internal bug ticket. The fixing is planned in v26.3. Currently please stick with platform designer as workaround

Could you try installing again? Make sure turn off any suspicious software like anti virus, vnc, anti malware
NikoRSorry, that is too much trouble in this case. I will wait for 26.1.1 and 26.3 versions.
Turning off security software is not an option on corporate laptops.There has been an APS case where a workaround is to use Platform Designer instead. It shows up there on my computer in this case.
