New ContributorAgilex 7 devices design example programming failed.
Hi Eric,
I have tested the design example from my end and it is successful.
- Please used Quartus Pro version 24.1 as suggested for the design example.
- Upgrade you IP tool. I saw from your photo there is a pop up suggested to upgrade IP.
- Run the design example again.

-Has the design ever work before?
-What is the Quartus version that you used?
-Make sure to select the correct device (AGFB014R24B2E2V)

Here are screenshots of the error message.How can I fix this error message?
I am using Quartus Pro Edition and NIOS V for the first time.
I have used Quartus Prime Lite Edition and NIOS II before and did not have this problem.
My Quartus version is Prime Pro 23.4.0 Build 79 11/22/2023 SC Pro Edition.
The Device ID is correct.Thx.,

I have had a go at building the same system with Quartus Prime Lite and it can be successfully compiled.
Why does compilation always fail when using Quartus Prime Lite?
