using ssram as a frame buffer

I want to know if is possible to run the kernel in the 16mb sdram and use my 2mb ssram as a frame buffer. Any suggestions... regards E.G.

You should be able to, and I think it would be a good idea since it wouldn't tie up your primary bus with constant framebuffer transfers taking place. I was hoping to do the same thing, so i'm interested to hear if it's possible also...
