Use CDT2.0 plug-in in Nios IDE

Hi,

I have been useing Niso IDE for a few weeks. I notice that it bases on Eclipse IDE 2.1 and CDT plugin 1.2.1.

Since I am user of Eclipse 3.0 with CDT plugin 2.0, I wonder if

I can use CDT2.0 with Nios IDE. Or should I upgrade the Nios IDE to versiion 3.0.

If yes, could any one tell me how to upgrade?

    Someone else will be better at answering this, but I'll give it a try.

    I believe that you cannot just upgrade to a newer version. The plugins we use just won't work.

    I'll see if someone else can explain it better.

    Kerri is correct. We will be upgrading to newer versions of Eclipse which will be incorporated as part of Nios II IDE for upcoming release from Altera.
